My name is Chris Rogers. I am a long time practitioner of Southern Shaolin (Sil Lum) Kung Fu and was the last student of the late Master Pete Robinson before his death in early 2010. His teachers were Masters Gin Foon Mark,William Chung, Ark Yuey Wong, Share Lew, and Kam Yuen.
Years ealier, I was a student of Peter Leventhal in Greenwich, CT, and then went on to study with Clyde Levine in Stamford, CT where I received my black sash. Both Peter and Clyde were students of Master Robinson as well.

Ng Ga Kuen. (Five Families Kung Fu) a system that combines the five southern family styles of Choy Li Fut, Hung , Lau and Mok Gar is what I was taught with emphasis on the Choy Li Fut & Hung Ga. A martial art that emphasizes strong stances, swift footwork, and dynamic block/strikes. Techniques that are rooted with power, executed with relative ease, and have multi-directional impact potential.

"Techniques encourage coordination and proper body alignment with emphasis on core propulsion and fluidity.
The attention on stability, balance, and low center of gravity movement creates an intensity and focus that leads to a true mind-body connection."
